Wines are maturing in controlled environment partially in barrique barrels and partially in stainless steel tanks. Our goal is to achieve the ideal combination between the structure, the fullness and the complexity of the wine obtained by maturing in the wood and the elegance, the lightness and the refinement obtained by maturing in stainless steel tanks. Grapes come from the top vineyards of Drniš with a warm, sunny soil cooled by a strong wind. Under such ecological conditions Vizzulin Merlot retains modesty and elegance even in extremely demanding hot and sunny seasons. In a unique microclimate, Vizzulin Merlot is rounded, full-bodied and has over-fruit smell.
Best to be served at 18-20 ° C with various roasts, steaks, red meat and game dishes, mature cheeses and with first class fish.
